A waterfall... again!

Hello everyone!

As you can/will see, or have already figured out by title of this post, I have done another waterfall. I liked the first so much, that it seemed silly not to do another!

doodlesbycp

This is a little different post. This one is not done my me, but by my beautiful little 22 month old daughter. This may look like a lot scribbles, but I will assure you that each line , circle, and zigzag was deliberate and precisely added to the paper. As I was watching her doodle this, the expression on here face was one of deep thought and concentration. Before too long she will showing me how to doodle!

Something Different

This is a little different type of doodle that I am use to doing. I was given a pad of black paper used mostly more charcoal drawings. I then used a silver sharpie, Much different than the other sharpies that I use. The ink in this Sharpie is more like paint.... Sort of. They are used often time for autographing sports memorabilia.

Well when you put the silver sharpie on the black paper you get this! I have had a lot of fun trying our new things with the artform that I call Line Doodling. I hope you all enjoy, and you will probably see some more balck and silver doodles as the days go by.

Waterfall

This is the last doodle that I have completed. It is really the first doodle that I have done that resembles an actual picture. The I enjoyed watching this piece transform right before my eyes as I worked to complete it.
Hope everyone has a great and safe evening. Happy New Years to all!
It was done on 8.5x11 paper with a sharpie.

Peace, Love, Joy

This started out only being a one part piece, but as I got almost finished with the first, I decided that I would make it a three part piece. I am very pleased with how it turned out. You will notice that the Lettering is very clear, yet there are no solid lines that define any of the letters.

You may also notice that this doodle project is a little different that my past doodles. I am not sure what lead me to change my style for these three doodles, but I really like the finished product, as I hope you do as well!

These are all done on a new type of paper that I have not used as of yet. It was 25% cotton, fine linen paper. 8.5x11 with black sharpie

Enjoy.

Merry Christmas

So I have had these done for a while, but wanted to wait until they had been given as gifts before sharing them with all of you. There are three new doodles here. I did a doodle for my brothers and dad this year as one of the gifts. It is always fun to give things that you have put much thought and love into. As I said in my last post, it is much better to give than to receive.

In these three doodles, I tried to incorporate hobbies, geographical things, and just some good old doodlage (I think I just made that word up, or maybe not) from my noodle. You will also find some other things in these three doodles. You will find initials of the recipient, as well as their birthday (month/day).

For Bryan:

For Michael:

For Dad:

All three of these where done with 8.5 x11 white copy paper and sharpie. Though I am excited to say that I have received some new/different forms of paper, and sharpies! So keep your eyes peeled for some new things.
Until next time, I hope you are having a Merry Christmas. Here in my neck of the woods, it is snowing like crazy, so stay safe.
